Proposing a Solution

​

Examining a contentious issue involving multiple points of view and presenting a potential solution is difficult at best. That was the goal set for this written proposal. ​ Carefully researching internet privacy issues brought stakeholders' interests to light and challenged me to find a viable solution. This report also challenged me to analyze my persuasive writing skills, as a proper persuasive tone would prove essential for success.

Throughout researching the complexities of this issue and organizing them into a cohesive result, I was aware of the different parties involved and their stake in it. After analyzing the results of my research and developing an approach to the issue, my solution was presented. This pushed my ability to write persuasively while giving detailed information more than anticipated. While truthfully, there is not a single solution capable of satisfying the concerns of all the parties involved. Thus, crafting a proposal to appeal to a majority required me to simultaneously be critical of the issue and my writing.

 

The resulting report produced from my work on this project continues to be one of the more memorable experiences of my educational experience. It was an essential experience for my growth as a writer.
